"Eric has
performed extensively throughout Canada, the United States,
Europe as well as South America, South Africa and as far
down under as New Zealand and Australia. Over the years he
has performed with celebrity names such as Victor Borge,
Michael Burgess, Pierrette Beauchamp, Gil Tibo, Bettine
Clements, The Fifth Dimension and illusionists Fred and
Kelly Becker and John Duffy. He has entertained the likes of
Alan Alda, Alex Trebek and Frazier & Garry. He has been
under the noted conduction in the past of Andrew Davis of
the Toronto Symphony as well as Elmer Eisler and John Rutter,
one of Europe's leading composers in choral music.
Eric was
the Featured Solo Artist for the 2003 Grand Benefit
Fundraiser for Louis Gehrig's (ALS) held in Kansas City on
April 12, 2003. His engagement with the highly prestigious
Rosebrook Society Benefit Cabaret hosted at the Fairmont
Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri in 2002 was a great success
receiving the first standing ovation in the events 15 year
history resulting in the invitation to perform for the
prestigious ALS Benefit. He has followed the previous
successes of Michael Feinstein, Ann Hampton Callaway, and
Dixie Carter for these specific events.
Eric was chosen to perform in
Lake Charles, outside ofNew Orleans for producer Robert
Noland for Mardi Gras 2006. He performed his one-man
show which featured top Broadway hits, impersonations, a
Josh Groban tribute with the finale being a tribute to Mardi
Gras and "The Saints Go Marching In". His mother will also be featured at the event as they
paid tribute to Liberace in "The Battle Hymn of the
Republic".
Eric is presently performing in the capacity of Headline Singer for the number one rated
luxury cruise line, Seabourn Cruise Lines. He was Headline Entertainer on the Seabourn
Spirit and the Seabourn Pride when they received the number
one rating in the world for luxury travel aboard ship.
In 2005 he received the "Department of the Month" award
twice from Seabourn Cruise Lines which was a first in the
history of entertainment to be awarded by the company.
He has
also performed for the number one rated, Silver Seas Cruise
Lines, for over 13 months as featured guest entertainer and
production show headliner, with his own show being chosen by
Silver Seas for the New Years Gala Celebration in 1998 which
was received with critical acclaim. He has been featured
soloist and guest entertainer for other such notable cruise
lines as Princess Cruise Lines, Cunard Cruise Lines for the
1994 World Cruise of the Q.E.II, and even more recently with
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's1998 flagship, Vision of the
Seas. He was chosen as the Broadway representative for the
QE2's Theatre Crossing in 2002 for which he received 2
standing ovations for his one man show. "The finest one man

Having been a professional figure skater for over 16 years,
Eric has also headlined in Karen Flannigan's production of
"Stars On Ice" as well as Rosstyn Ice Show Production of
"2000 On Ice" as featured singer and skating soloist. His
musical theatre credits are quite wide ranging from
children's theatre to main stage productions in Toronto,
Canada and Miami, Florida. His favourite character
portrayals have included: The Beast in Beauty and the
Beast both on ice and on the main stage, Dr.Craven in
The Secret Garden, The Pinball Wizard in excerpts from
the musical Tommy and The Phantom in concert.
Eric is also an accomplished musical director having
conducted such noted musicals as Oklahoma, A Night At
The Pavilion, which he also directed, and a tour in
Canada of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
for a benefit of Victims of Violence and Missing Children.
He just recently completed his first engagement in the
capacity of Vocal Director for Royal Caribbean's number one
rated ship for entertainment, the Enchantment of The Seas,
where his vocal arrangements were received with great
enthusiasm receiving standing ovations and critical
acclaim. Eric continues to act as Musical Director
aboard the Seabourn Legend writing and arranging many works
for the shows onboard.
Eric has
had a successful career as a noted vocal teacher. Many of
his students are now pursuing successful singing careers.
He has also enjoyed success as a song writer and composer,
with many of his works used in original musical theatre and
pop settings.
