Eric is pleased to announce that he has joined Azamara
Cruise Lines in a new adventure on the Azamara Journey
starting May 23, 2010 for a four month contract in the
Baltic region. He is very excited to be joining the
award winning cruise line in high class style and looks
forward to helping it continue to achieve its brand name in
excellence.
Eric recently resigned from Seabourn Cruise Lines where he
called home for 9 years, leaving with the highest ratings on
average seen aboard the Seabourn Legend for Entertainment.
While very sad to be leaving the "Seabourn Family" a
wonderful opportunity awaits further. He thanks all of
his loyal following for there continued best wishes and
support in this new direction is will always be grateful to
President, Pamela Conover for her heartfelt support and
direction over the years with Seabourn.
He has a scheduled date at the Clayton
Opera House in Clayton New York on August 11th as a return
invite after his success there in 2008.
Eric has added new features as well to the website
with a promotional video entitled Eric on Stage which you
can find the link on the tabs alongside. This footage
features aspects of his one man show seen on both Regent and Seabourn Cruise Lines as well as Corporate Fundraisers and
Benefits throughout the year.
Eric just made his Canadian debut on May 15th for the
Winchester Gala Fundraiser. It was a great evening
which featured his mother in one number on the piano in a
tribute to Liberace with the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
An immediate standing ovation took place followed by another
at the end with his rendition of Phantom of the Opera and a
tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber.
He is available for Corporate and Benefit Concerts in 2010 during
October-November. He successfully completed another top
rated season with Seabourn Cruise Lines achieving another
year-end high! Thanks goes out to all who helped make it
such a successful year. He has been to New York City this
year also where he was introduced to many key individuals on
the Broadway circuit thanks to Veronica Claypool. Many
thanks goes out to Rosie as well for discovering Eric on
Seabourn and making a dream of a Broadway show one day a
possible reality. Eric made his debut two years ago at the
Clayton Opera House where he received standing ovations as
well as top reviews from local critics and reviewers for his
one man show, all thanks to patron Bobbie Trimble. He has
been approached again for another performance as part of the
Opera House summer season in August 2010 as previously
mentioned on August 11th.
Eric also performed to rave reviews in Linville North
Carolina as featured entertainer for their annual theatrical
arts fundraiser which was held on August 19th, 2006. Eric
finishes his career and his worldly travels in the capacity of Cruise
Director/Guest Entertainer for the 6 star award winning,
luxury Cruise Line, Seabourn aboard the Seabourn Legend as
of May 9th, 2010. He
has hosted such distinguished guests as Alan Arkin, Alex
Trebek, Phillip Morris, Motorola, Rogers of Canada, and a
charter cruise for Ford of Spain motor company. He was in
charge of all onboard entertainment for the Seabourn Legend
with great performers as Michelle McErlean, Bonnie Kilroe,
Heather Kruezman, Kami Rogers, Jamilla Ajibade, Preston Coe,
Amanda McDaniel, Rachel Williams, Diana Rivas and Beth Soho.
Eric performed outside of New Orleans in Lake Charles for
Mardi Gras celebrations on February 16th, 2006 for the
inaugural Mardi Gras Ball produced by Robert Noland. He
performed his one-man show From Vegas to Broadway with
special appearance by Marion De Gray (his mother) who was
also spotted by producer Robert Noland and invited to
accompany Eric for the performance of Liberace's Battle Hymn
of the Republic The show featured selections of famous
Broadway songs, impersonations of various Vegas Celebrities
from the past, and highlights of Josh Groban hits with the
big finale being a tribute to Mardi Gras and When the Saints
Go Marching In" Eric successfully completed the 2003 Grand
Benefit Fundraiser for Louis Gehrig's (ALS) held in Kansas
City April 12, 2003 helping raise over 550,000 dollars and
receiving three standing ovations with the highlight being a
performance with his mother Marion DeGray playing on piano
with the orchestra, the Liberace version of The Battle Hymn
of the Republic. His engagement with the highly prestigious
Rosebrook Society Benefit Cabaret hosted at the Fairmont
Hotel in Kansis City, Missouri February 2002 was a great
success receiving the first standing ovation in the events
15 year history and also resulting in the invitation to
perform for the prestigious ALS Benefit. He has followed the
previous successes of Michael Feinstein, Ann Hampton
Callaway, and Dixie Carter for these specific events and
thanks Fred and Dee Lyons for inviting him and introducing
him to the Board of Executives for ALS to perform at this
important and high profiled event.
Eric has been recording this year many new arrangements for
his one man show as well as many new selections for his
upcoming new CD. His new CD is called Inspiration: A Love
Story as well as his Christmas CD which is scheduled to
arrive very soon. |
